Lingerie is something that women sometimes tend to neglect. I have a few friends who think cotton is sexy. Well, it’s not. If you own cotton underwear, bras, and teddies, don’t wear them around your man. Unless it’s his underwear, cotton isn’t hot.

That being said, all women should learn to love lingerie. It’s a small article of clothing that can make you feel oh so sexy. You can put on a fashion show for yourself and parade around in bras and panties.

I always include sexy lingerie in my budget because it gives me that extra boost of confidence. Putting on a sexy bra and panty under my outfit is like having a special secret that no one else knows about. However, if you aren’t comfortable showing off your figure in a bra and underwear, I suggest buying a sexy slip. Slips can go under dresses to help give you that sexy boost of confidence, or they can be worn around the house when you’re trying to sexify your man.

Remember, as long as you find yourself sexy, men will also. Confidence doesn’t come from what you see in the mirror, it comes from within. Anything feminine can give your man the va-va-voom impression regardless of your shape or size. If cost is not an option, I would recommend looking at La Perla and Agent Provocateur. If you don’t feel comfortable spending a lot of money, H&M and Victoria Secret are two other cost friendly choices. Ladies, it doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day for you to dress up in a sexy outfit. Dating Advice on What to East on a Date

First date food choices are tricky. At least I think so. I’m a very picky and boring eater, so restaurants with interesting menus don’t appeal to me. Put a piece of grilled chicken on a plate with some sautéed veggies, and I’m happy. This week my Matchmaker mom gave me the task of coming up with a menu of what not to eat on a first date. I gave it some thought and came up with 4 top choices.

Food #1: Salad

Rule #1 of dating – don’t ever order a salad. There are very few guys that like to date a girl with eating issues, and ordering a salad as your meal sends the wrong signals. My dating coach says that men are attracted to women who like to eat, and I agree. An appetite is sexy. A guy wouldn’t ask you to join him for dinner if he wanted to watch you order something extremely healthy. When your date reflects on your time together, you don’t want him to remember you as “the girl who ordered a salad.”

Food #2: Spaghetti

I personally love pasta. I think it’s delicious and a safe choice price wise. You don’t want to order something too expensive, and pasta is usually priced just right. However, there’s a big difference between pasta and spaghetti. Pasta, such as penne, can be eaten politely and perhaps with some sex appeal. Spaghetti on the other hand, makes a mess regardless of how you eat it. Even if you use a spoon to twirl the spaghetti, it can still splatter all over you. You want to turn your date on, not have him think you’re a slob.

Food #3: Chicken Wings

Recently, barbecue restaurants have become pretty popular. I’m not sure how many first dates would end up at a barbecue restaurant, but just in case, stay away from the chicken wings. You might think it’s sexy to eat with your hands and get all messy, but it’s not. No guy wants to look at a girl with sauce all over her face, unless of course it’s his “special sauce.”

Food #4: Spinach and leafy greens

On a date it’s wise to stay away from all greens. Greens are in the same category as beans. Eat them by yourself or with a girlfriend, but don’t ever order them on a date. Spinach in particular is tricky because it can get stuck in your teeth. Nothing would be more embarrassing than to have food stuck in your teeth on a first date. When you flash your signature smile, you want your date to see your pearly whites, not a chunk of spinach. After all, you don’t want to be known as the girl who had food stuck in her teeth all night.

Dating Tips: Things I Can Live Without

This section of Janis Spindel’s dating advice course was really hard for me because I don’t like to give anything up. The top 3 things I can live without are: taking taxi’s, going out to dinner during the week, and seeing movies in theaters. In an effort to make a social budget for myself, I had to cut back on some costs to allow money for my new beauty budget. If I only take taxi’s Friday and Saturday nights, go out to dinner only on the weekends, and stop seeing movies in the theater, I will save a lot of money! This course is all about prioritizing, and lets face it, it is much more important to make sure my hair and nails look great than to take a cab. The subway is a great place to meet people – and with my hair and nails in perfect shape I’m sure to feel very approachable.

Interviewer: I'm with Janis Spindel, who is the Hamptons professional matchmaker and also in the city. Hello, welcome to the show.
JS: Hi, thanks so much for having me on.
IN: Oh gosh so much to talk about. Now how does the process work.
JS: well, my clients are all men. They start from 27, and my oldest guy is 78, believe it or not. They are from all over the country. I move my entire business out east for the summer because that's where the beautiful women are and the successful men.
IN: You are only dealing with men. You are finding women for men.
JS: Correct.
IN: And assumingly wealthy men because your fees start at 50k and upwards, correct?
JS: Yes, it's a very small price to pay for happiness, and to be happy for the rest of your life.
IN: So how do you do it Janis?
JS: Well, I will leave no stone unturned. I was gifted with the gift of gab. I can talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime. And I have an uncanny sixth sense to know who belongs with whom. I usually get my guys matched by the third introduction.
IN: Wow, so it's almost like a clairvoyance.
JS: Total clairvoyance. I get epiphanies and flashes.
IN: Alright, so if you see a woman on the street, any woman your thinking that could be for this client or that could be for this client.
JS: Yes.
IN: Do you actually hold meetings with groups of women who come in and you interview them?
JS: Yes, I have meet and greets once a month in the city as well as out here. I meet women no matter where I am. It could be the supermarket, manicurist. Literally wherever I am. I interview them, and then they have to go through a pretty brutal process because I'm very selective in who I match.
IN: Right, So you don't do this half hazard.
JS: I'm not a dating service, I'm a matchmaker.
IN: And what about their expectations. I would assume that these guys would have pretty high expectations for that amount of money they are paying.
JS: That would be putting it mildly. Men's expectations are completely , completely off the charts. But I do not over promise and under deliver. I was told that I over deliver and under promise. So If I feel that a guy is absolutely beyond awesome and realistic with his expectations and of what he is looking for, and emotionally available and commitment minded, well educated, well groomed, upscale professional, I'll get him a wife.
In: You'll do it. But now will you turn down clients as well.?
JS: Yes.
In: What about that short fat bald guy that wants Barbie, that's not going to happen.
JS: It depends on the guy. I mean if a guy has a great personality and if he is smart, nice, kind and if he's fun. I'll find him somebody.
IN: what is the biggest mistakes you see women and men do on dates?
JS: Well, how come everyone asks me that question a thousand times a day. I'm also a two time national bestselling author in all of the answers of what men want and what women do wrong are in my book. But most people just talk too much, they just talk too much. For men they fall in love through their eyes, it's all about chemistry. Men are visual . So if women do not put their best foot forwards, if she doesn't have confidence, and if she is not well groomed, of course, takes great care of her body leads a healthy lifestyle. Need I go on!
